Service
HC-CSPR operates a validator node on the Casper Network. CSPR holders can delegate to it through the Casper protocol. HC-CSPR provides validation services only; it never takes custody of delegated tokens and cannot move them.
Commission
The validator charges a commission on staking rewards earned by delegated stake, currently 10%. The commission is enforced by the Casper protocol and can be changed on-chain by the validator; the current value is always visible on CSPR.live and on this website.
No guarantees
Rewards depend on the protocol, total network stake, issuance and validator performance and are not guaranteed. Although the node is operated with great care, uptime and performance cannot be guaranteed; outages, network upgrades or events beyond our control can reduce rewards.
Risks
- Market risk: the value of CSPR can fall significantly.
- Liquidity: undelegated tokens are locked for 7 eras (~14 hours).
- Protocol risk: future protocol changes (e.g. enabling slashing through governance) can change the risk profile of staking.
- Key risk: you alone are responsible for the security of your wallet and keys.
